Job Title: Area Sales Manager
Experience Required: More than 5-10 yrs of experience under FMCG sector mainly dealing with products such as snacks, namkeen, chips
Salary: 30,000/- to 60,000/- per month (Negotiable) + TA +DA
Location: Bhubaneswar/ South Odisha / Coastal division)
Qualification- Any Graduation/ MBA
Job Overview: As the Area Sales Manager, you will be responsible for driving sales, achieving targets, and managing the distribution network within the assigned territory. Your primary focus will be on building and maintaining strong relationships with distributors, retailers, and key stakeholders to ensure the successful promotion and distribution.
Responsibilities:
Sales Strategy and Planning:
Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve and exceed sales targets.
Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to identify opportunities for growth.
Distribution Management:
Manage and expand the distribution network within the assigned area.
Ensure optimal stock levels, product visibility, and distribution efficiency.
Team Leadership:
Lead and motivate the sales team to achieve individual and collective targets.
Provide training, guidance, and support to enhance the team's performance.
Relationship Building:
Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with distributors, retailers, and other channel partners.
Collaborate with key stakeholders to develop mutually beneficial partnerships.
Market Intelligence:
Stay updated on industry trends, consumer preferences, and competitor activities.
Utilize market insights to make informed decisions and adjustments to the sales strategy.
Sales Reporting and Analysis:
Prepare regular sales reports, performance analyses, and forecasts.
Provide timely and accurate information to the management team.
